Useful Plug-Ins for After Effects

1. Element 3D // E3D is one of those powerful helpers, which are fully intergrated into AE. Create complex 3d scenes from scratch with high speed render. > https://www.videocopilot.net/products/element2/ 2. Optical Flares // Yet another nice tool from videocopilot. Lens Flares are always a cool add-on, if they´re not overdosed.Create you own presets and integrate them to your project. > https://www.videocopilot.net/products/opticalflares/ 3. Reelsmart Motion Blur // I think it´s must-have. Adding motion blur with good results as a post effects to all your compositions. The new version also supports GPU rendering. > http://www.revisionfx.com/products/rsmb/ 4. Frischluft Lenscare // That one comes into play when you need fine DOF-Lensblur. I creates better results than any built-in effect as far as i know. > http://www.frischluft.com/lenscare/ 5. Newton // Newton is a 2d rigid body dynamics engine for AE. It works pretty well and it is fun. A true enlargement. > http://www.motionboutique.com/newton/ 6. Trapcode Suite // A classic one, you have to know! 3d Stroke, Shine, Starglow are the most famous. Particular is the best particle engine for AE. Form is somehow it´s little sister. > http://www.redgiant.com/products/trapcode-suite/ 7. Sapphire Effects // A huge selection of cool out-of-the-box effects. Good Blur and Glow effects, easy to use. But not that cheap on the downside...anyway > http://www.genarts.com/sapphire/effects-browser

After Effects Performance Test File

About: I´m always curious about the power & performance of different machines. When ever i have access to, i load up this file below and make a render in After Effects. There is no such tool as Cinebench for AE, so i built this project for testing. Maybe you like to join the party and compare your machine.... If you have any results or marks you´re welcome to put it in the comments! Thanks, have a nice render! Download the file > http://goo.gl/TnB0Kg
